VIX Connection Agreement
The VIX Connection Agreement is your contract with the University of Vienna regarding your VIX connection. You can process both new registrations and data changes via a web form.
- New participants:
Once you have made all the necessary preparations, please read the VIX General Terms and Conditions including Annex 1. Then complete the web form for new participants in its entirety. After submitting the web form, you will receive the contract by e-mail. At the same time, it is also sent to VIX for review. If anything is unclear, we will contact you.
- Existing participants:
If you want to change data or order additional ports, please log in to the VIX web portal. You will find your Connection Agreement pre-filled in your user profile and can modify it there. Please note that any change will require a new version of the contract to be signed!
- Digital signature:
Please send the digitally signed PDF document by e-mail to admin (at) vix.at. Your signature must be verifiable by means of RTR's signature verification service.
- Handwritten signature:
Please send us two copies of the printed document with your original signature by post.
In both cases we will digitally countersign the document and return it to you by e-mail. The contract is thereby valid.
You merely wish to change an existing agreement, e.g. to add more ports, but do not have a digital signature? Then you can expedite the process by sending a scan of the manually signed document to admin (at) vix.at in advance (in addition to the paper version).
New customers who need to save a few days also have this option. However, please note that setup works will not commence until your setup fee has been received.
